The organisation Βaumstrasse is organising in Eleusis the past 7 years the Attiko School of Ancient Greek Drama. The Attiko School is a ten-day summer school with parallel events by Greek and foreign artists and lecturers. The constant study and presentation of the work of the three great tragic poets is one of the central pillars of the Attiko School’s artistic work. The choice to deal with ancient drama is directly related to the language and place in which the team members live and create. The aim of the group from the beginning is to create a strong international-oriented institution for the study of ancient drama not only at a theoretical level but at all stages of a performance.
